November ?

Yesterday was a really dull, dark, wet day which brought to mind this poem by Thomas Hood.

No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -  
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease, 
No comfortable feel in any member -  
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,  
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -  
November!

But that was yesterday - today was totally different. This photo was taken as I left Oxburgh for the last time until next February at 1.30pm. When I got home I needed to go into Ely so I took Merlin with me (just Merlin) and we had a lovely walk along the river. Three of the four 'extras' were taken between 3 and 4 pm and it was warm enough for just a knitted Aran jacket. (the one with the people sitting by the trees was Oxburgh too)
