Whirling Butterflies

Whirling Butterflies (Gaura lindheimeri) are in full bloom around Maleny, Queensland.

I like their unusual arrangement of 4 petals, all on the top half of the flower with the long stamens on the bottom half. Bees are fond of it though must hover to feed because of the flower's anatomy. This does make getting a sharp blip a bit of a challenge - this is my clearest out of 20 or so shots.
