Not a nappy

Today was always going to be a crappy day. Woke up feeling not so good, kids were in less then happy moods, all three whining about something. It took twice as long to do lunches this morning, making us late, then it rained arhhhh however the hight light was when I got home and unloaded the washing machine and notice some sticky like gel all through the clothes. HMMMM what is that, I then pulled out a nappy. How can that be Lara has been out of them for over a year now, further investigations had me finding dolls clothes. lara must of had a nappy on her doll and had put it in there to get washed nappy and all.

It was a buggger to get out, first I had to unclog the washing machine, and the take the gel covered load outside and hose each bit down. Well over an hour out of my NOT so good day.

On the brighter side at pick up today Maddie's religion teacher who she adores, came over to me and told me, I asked all the prep's to draw something that makes them Happy and Maddie drew You. He said it made him smile, as he often watches us walk in to school, and Maddie always seemed so happy holding my hand and giving big cuddles as we left. I was really touched and It made my yucky day so much brighter and I couldn't stop smiling on the way out.

Funny how things can turn around.
