Blue on Gold

I had a wonderful day at the annual Nature Visions conference, held about an hour from home in Virginia.  Today was a 6 hour lecture on landscape photography.  It focused primarily on inspiration and composition, which was quite interesting.  The speaker also spent time explaining how he makes a living, and the details of producing YouTube videos.  Not something I will ever do, but fascinating none the less.  Tomorrow I will take a workshop on impressionistic photography, and learn about macro techniques and post-processing.  
During lunch I had a few minutes to wander around outside, which is where I found this noisy blue jay.
