Throat Problems

An early appointment with the dentist as part of the investigation into my very painful throat/ear.  She was thorough and investigated in some detail.  She tapped my teeth, probed underneath my tongue and felt under my jaw.  She concluded that it was not my teeth causing the problem.  My relief was tempered by the fact that my soreness was even sorer.  She suggested that it wasn’t a bacterial but a viral infection.  That would explain why the antibiotic medication wasn’t working.  It will be left to take its own course and I will get comfort in Ibuprofen and salty water.
