to the lighthouse

To soothe Zeke’s distress at having missed out on the lighthouse walk, we went in search of an alternative lighthouse. Firstly a visit to Port Isaac because it seemed silly not to take Isaac to a port of his name. It was hugely pretty but slightly busier than I’d have liked because of a tv show having been filmed there. Weird to walk round and hear people saying “that’s the house”. It made everyone seem a bit like lunatics.

GG departed for the Midlands after a cream tea finale to his holiday.

Then on to the lighthouse (see extra), much to Zeke’s delight. It was actually a beautiful spot on the north coast and I fell in love a little bit. Finally a good old play on Harlyn beach which was utterly wonderful. Isaac quite enjoyed posing for his portrait.
