Back blipping

A ridiculously busy week and not helped by technical problems since Sunday of getting into the online platform that Cambridge use to host the annual standardisation of CELTA courses. and the deadline was today! My colleague also had problems and so we were both stressed and whacking emails off for help to left, right and centre. It usually takes a good few hours of peace and quiet to do it, and as a last attempt and last resort we went into school this morning at 7.00am in the hope that our new passwords would work and the internet at school would be better than the flat. We got in and then spent the next 1hr 30 watching and grading the lesson and marking and grading one assignment. The rest of the stuff we had to squeeze into the brief breaks we had during our normal working day in the busy, noisy teachers' room, which has a hot desk-ing policy. Neither of us could believe it when we managed to get it all done successfully by mid afternoon! We left school at 7.15 shattered and I still had to choose materials and allocate lessons to trainees for 10 x 1hr lessons for next week! I was too exhausted to contemplate it, so decided to get up super early the next morning to do it then.
