Bad news

first thing. We knew our car would be a write off but not that it was considered unsafe and so not insurable. We should have gone on planned outing earlier and received the news later. So no car to take us (anywhere) to a garage to see about replacement. We have a Citreon garage which is within walking distance so off we went. Not having anything to trade in we were restricted financially but at least we don't need a towing vehicle now.
We are annoyed at having taxed our car two days ago paid the insurance and have almost a full tank of petrol.

Hey ho it is a super sunny day, so off to supermarket, having crossed off four items from list, they will have to wait a couple of weeks.

P.s. No we are not getting this car!
