Working for Creative Head magazine tonight at their Coterie event at the Fruitmarket Gallery. The evening was on the theme of Meet The Collaborators, starting with Linton and Mac, two young hairdressers from Aberdeen who set up a new salon just three years ago which has already won numerous awards. Next it was Paul Percival, a session stylist who has numerous loyal celebrity clients including Will Young, Rita Ora and Cheryl, as well as working with a host of big names in his career back to the Spice Girls. And halfway through his interview he was joined by surprise guest Will Young. Here are the two of them afterwards, with host Catherine Handcock from the magazine. After Paul and Will the third interview was with Jody Taylor winner of Most Wanted Male Grooming Specialist. He talked about London Fashion Week Men’s and collaborations with major brands such as Louis Vuitton and Topman and with celebrity clients. Although I was busy capturing the event it was very interesting to hear what they had to say about collaborations in a slightly different world.
