Great Barrier Reef

My first ever experience of snorkelling, and it was amazing, 2 hours out in a large catamaran, in rough waters, then swimming off the boat. The reef was incredible, lots of fish and in places the reef looked so close to the surface that I felt like I would crash into it, though there must have been at least a couple of metres of clearance.

Extra is of Mhairi, determined to stay in the water until the last possible moment.
