Heron on the Ledge

Glorious sunny day, out walking on the path that skirts the harbour along a small cliff, this is where the herons rest, it's hard to see them from the top but today I was lucky. This Heron , like myself was soaking up the November sunshine, he was perched on a narrow grassy ledge, while I reached out as far as I could to blip him. I have told friends if the shop is still closed after 2.00pm, then to come looking for me in case I've lent out to far and gone over the edge!!
