Tunnel

This is not my habitual avenue of plane trees. I made a special trip to Tournissan in the late afternoon after noticing how wonderful they looked when we were coming back from Artistes en Campagne. The strong contrasts made it difficult, but I was fairly happy with this one given that I hadn't bothered with a tripod, hence bracketing and merging was a non-starter. It's closest to what I saw anyway.

Cemetery wall on the left -- there was a small flow of people coming and going. I went in and took a few more photos for my chrysanthemum series. There were some even more astonishing ones here. Click right from here to see the rest.
