Names

We're getting near that time when we have to issue invitations to a sixth birthday party. I draw up a list of Jack's class-mates as he names them in the school photograph, hoping I have heard him right and made a decent stab at spelling them correctly.

Today, I put the list in his school bag and asked the teacher to check it. The bag came back and I rushed to see what mark we got. Mmm, 14 out of 22. A pass, but not perhaps a very distinguished one.
