Autumn garden
With so many people trying out the Pep Ventosa technique at the moment I thought I'd try my hand at a bit of it (my interpretation of the technique) as well, here's an impression of the back garden at the moment, I love the red colours of the leaves of the tree in the middle.
A stack of 7 images taken from left to right at approximately the same distance but every shot two small steps to the right and then stacked on each other, moving the images so that the main subject remains best visible, with the second shot at 45 % opacity and every next shot 5 % less opacity. It's the last couple of shots with the least opacity that give the impressionist effect. If you want to try this out but you don't have an editing program that works with layers, both Snapseed and Pixlr Express have multiple exposure possibilities too, including opacity sliders.
For Abstract Thursday on this first Thursday of the month, there is no theme today, you are free to enter any kind of abstract you like today, as long as you took/made it today and had fun creating it :-) The tag is AT175. I think the tags work very well nowadays (thanks to Annie !) but do tell me if your correctly tagged entry does not appear in the whole AT175 collection, not even after an hour or so.
Thanks very much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's happy pumpkins :-)
