Poppies

Another wonderful day full of surprises.....another wonderful surprise was we woke to a frost but sun shone for the entire day.  Lazy wind though.

Gitama and I had a slow start, then we drove around to the Crematorium for some Pep Ventosa photography, trees in the grounds I hasten to add!!

This afternoon we headed out to Temuka, a small town just north of Timaru.  A few stops along the way to photograph the horses, the snowy mountains and I'm sure there were other stops but can't think of them currently.  Once in Temuka, we had a bit of a look around, checking out different places.  I was always going to take her to one of my favourite derelict house on the outskirts of the town.  The bonus was the owner was there and invited us onto her property to take many photos of the different rooms, the remains of some rather classy wallpaper , old skrim was fluttering in the breezes.  The owner had been in and added a Halloween touch.  But because I love poppies I've chosen them for my blip.  These were in the Temuka Domain and were looking gorgeous.  We also did some Peps there as well.  From Temuka I took her to the rural district of Seadown where I spent all of my childhood through to marrying....a trip down memory lane.
Gosh, I've got so many photos to edit, and so many Peps to create.  All in good time I tell myself.

Another smashing day was had.
