Today in Muscat, for the first time since I've been here (and can recall at any rate) the sky has not been visible at all due to complete cloud cover. Coupled with a 61% humidity level, the visibility around the city is only 2km.

The surrounding mountains can't be seen at all and the city has an extremely eerie feel to it today. I was struck by the effect when I stopped off at Shatti where the entire beach was almost completely devoid of colour, resulting in this mono-looking shot.
