Coming your way

This might be described as a Halloween horror or it might provide reassurance that one of the main elements of forthcoming celebrations is on its way.  Quite a few folk working up at the plantation today.  Maybe it was a training session – I don’t think many needles will still be on these trees in a couple of months time.  A visit to a garden centre later on in the day confirmed that the retail aspect of the celebrations is well underway.  It will be some time before the spirit of that the season touches me.  My bah-humbug period has started.
