Winter Thrushes

I walked to Rowarth today on a cold but sunny day and it was worth it.

I got to see a wide variety of birds at the Rowarth end of the walk and it included Bullfinch, Redpoll and Goldfinches but it was the Winter Thrushes that I chased after for a photo. 

I risked injury climbing a slippery grassy bank to go over a stile to get the light on the subject luckily 3 Fieldfare sat for me when a flock of 40+ birds ( Some Redwing and Starlings with Chaffinches )  moved off.
