Good/Bad. Mostly good.

Today is a good day because
-It's my 20th birthday...
-...and my 50th blip.
-High school seniors celebrate the end of classes (see photo). Why is this good for me, you ask? I get free candy.

Today is a bad day because
-I have an exam tomorrow...
-... which means I can't really celebrate my birthday properly.

About the blip:
Every February, when high school seniors start to prepare for their final exams and don't have classes anymore, we have a day called "Penkkarit". The celebrations start at school and vary depending on which school you go to. But in the afternoon the seniors drive around in the centre of the city in trucks that they've rented for the occasion. And - here's the best part - they throw candy for the people who have come to watch and cheer for them.

The truck in the picture is my old high school's truck. Since it's a French-Finnish school, the seniors traditionally wear red hats resembling the Phrygian caps that were worn by French revolutionaries. In other schools seniors usually wear themed costumes.
