A Prickly day

I rang the vet at 8.30 this morning. Russet has a lump which has suddenly become very nasty, and she seemed rather lethargic, so I asked if one of the vets could come to the house, as I can’t lift her into the car.

She perked up a bit and a kind and gentle vet and a nurse arrived before noon. Later in the day he phoned to give me results of tests.
Surgery is not an option at her age (14) so it is a “ management “ issue for a while. She’s had a steroid injection and we’ll report back to the vet in a day or two.
A difficult day.
