Sunset over Thurlestone Rock was unexpectedly phallic!

Earlier we walked across to Burgh Island - see extras - which has new owners and is much more welcoming than it was (“local pub for local people.....”). We have been blessed with incredible weather, unbroken sunshine so far but very cold.

We are just back from an amazing meal at the local pub, we’ve staggered back down the dark road ready for the Bake Off final - I’ve never seen such clear skies above us, the Milky Way was putting on quite a show. How lucky we are.
