Mist & Rainbows
Much milder today. but at this time of year that means heavy mists in the morning (see Extras). However it cleared up and the sun did come out, but not for too long as the rain started mid-afternoon. As a consolation, we got a rainbow:-)
TJ was picked up by taxi at 7 am and whisked off to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where he was doing his bit for future doctors by being a voluntary patient. He spent most of the day in bed, being examined by five trainee doctors for their Clinical Skills exams and they were all able to establish that he has a leaky heart valve, so hope they all passed! He was home again just after 3 pm, having just had his lunch provided at 2.30 pm! Not sure if he'll want to eat again tonight:-)
I spent my day peeling and chopping the remaining cooking apples, a task which had to be abandoned before when I sliced my finger! No accidents today and they are all now safely in the freezer. I also decided to make a batch of mincemeat, using a recipe provided on blip by blipfriend Ann and it looks and smells delicious. Many thanks Ann:-)
