A walk from White Moss, up through the woods, along to Grasmere then back along the riverside path. I was surprised to find ice on some sections of path.

Autumn colours were good but the light wasn't the best for photos (there's one in extras). So here you have three of the birds we spotted today. Much more interesting was when two Great Spotted Woodpeckers flew across our path and stopped within sight. Not close enough for a photo with the lens I had but good to see.
