Sad Teddy
I had seen a poem recently that in part seems fitting for this photo:
Here I hang, just a bit forlorn
My body sags and I'm a tad worn.
If you listen you can hear my sad sighs.
But the merry twinkle is still in my eyes.
I once was a much loved toy.
Belonging to a sweet little boy.
But he left me and went away,
i haven't seen him for many a day.
The day here has been very overcast with a real chill in the wind. I didn't want to travel to far so I visited North Watford Cemetery and found this sad teddy attached to a wooden cross above the grave of a teenage boy who died a few years ago.
