No country for old men...

The water's are still rising, all low-lying land in the Nene valley is underwater, several roads and many footpaths are closed. Alex was forty minutes late to college because the road at Little Paxton, in the Ouse valley, was closed, and the diversion was choked with traffic. These cyclists found their way to Peterborough City Centre blocked by several feet of water. But at least the flooding provides a good topic for conversation!
