Give blood!

...if you don't already, please consider it!!

I never used to....until son #2 needed 22 trips to theater in his 8 weeks in ICU and so many units of blood, the nurses lost count. It is only then, when you feel totally useless, you realise how much you owe the people who regularly donate blood, to save your own flesh and blood.
Yes, there is mild discomfort involved, but imagine the pain when you are told a life saving op in jeopardy as there may not be enough blood available!
I now go regularly, however I will not be able to give as much as my son received....but every little helps!
