Cairnhill Woods

I just love mornings like this, I always walk further, and brisker. Before this shot was taken a roe deer appeared unexpectedly, Breesha took off to chase but I called her twice, (using my serious you need to stop what you’re doing voice) and she returned to my side. Unfortunately one end of this woodland borders the very busy Switchback Road dual carriageway, so if deer and dog ran into the road it would be serious, for them and the drivers too. Breesha and I have met this deer a few times at dusk recently but this was our first morning sighting, I’ll be keeping her closer to me in this area to keep dog and deer safe. There’s an extra.
