Calle Lunga de San Barnaba, Dorsoduro, Venice
So, yesterday's fairly extreme aqua alter was just the prelude to today's monster - the highest water in Venice since 1966.
By mid afternoon, the only way to get about was in waders. Piazza San Marco was closed, shops and homes were flooded.
And on the whole everybody was in great humour. This dude summed it up, drinking a glass of wine in the middle of the street as he pumped out his restaurant.
Extras include Piazza San Marco and the view from our holiday apartment.
