Rainy Day

It was too wet for most things today. Cold too. I found this waterlogged bumblebee clinging to an Angelica leaf. She was alive. I hope she dried out before nightfall.

There is likely to be a frost tomorrow. I brought the tender vegetables- tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers etc.- in from the greenhouse. They have been out there for about two weeks. Before that I moved them in and out every day for five weeks. It was good exercise, racking up 1300 steps a day as measured by pedometer. When the plants don’t need to be moved I have to work harder to get my 10,000 steps done.
