Pie Idol 2012

B and I spent the day baking in anticipation of this evening's frivolity - Pie Idol 2012 (an annual pie-off hosted by one of B's friends).

This is B's pumkin pie - he came third in the sweet category.

I came second (Ha!) - even though my pie credentials were a bit sketchy as I actually made a spiced apple and sultana crumble!

A good evening was had by all - felt rather full after sampling over 20 pies ...
