An Ace Day

I'm not the biggest fan of London, but Adam and I always seem to find the best of it. This weekend was going to be about going to the American Football at Wembley, but despite not getting tickets, we decided to go ahead with the trip.

And so it was that we discovered the Camden Market (which despite being busy was so much fun, after a great brunch at the Blues Kitchen); took a wee pilgrimage to the Ace Café and saw some wonderful American cars rolling in (my favourite being the Corvette Stingray in the main shot, just edging out a Trans Am, complete with the eagle painted on the bonnet, which took me right back to being ten years old and watching Smokey and the Bandit); then headed to a painfully hip cocktail bar which included two crazy golf courses (we had one round, which Adam won easily, rolling in two holes-in-one).

Oh. And we're staying on a houseboat in Little Venice. C'mon, that's cracking.
