Criss-Crossed Mountains.
I decided to do the steep forest walk up the old moraine between Antagnes (600m) and Villars (1300m) for the last time this year. As you can see from the leaden sky, it was clearly going to rain very soon. This means it will snow up in Villars, then the path will be impassable. I kept getting glimpses through the trees of what is about to come soon. It is now pouring down outside, but we should not have the floods that are currently plaguing Britain. I hope all you GB based blippers are safe and dry.
Press L on your keyboard for bigger mountains. This was the mountainside where I was privileged to see a Golden Eagle in the summer. I wonder where she/he is now.
