Siblings ....and young cousins....

From right to left in chronological order, Michael. Richard (holding Magnus) and Lindsey (holding Violet); the children of my dear big sis, and therefore her grandchildren and my nephews and niece. Missing from this photo are Miriam( Magnus's sister)  and George (Violet's brother)....they were busy playing elsewhere.....Michael had travelled from Japan to be here, and have a short holiday catching up with friends. 

We and about 40 other guests, had a wonderful lunch together after the dedication of little Violet in the morning service at Linz and Dave's church in Bath. 

It's been a good time away and I will backblip for Saturday when we visited Lacock and the wonderful abbey and photography museum. 

Gosh, the weather has changed drastically but it's stayed dry which has been important. The drive home took hours as we had to divert from A4 to M25 to take my brother-in-law home to Chingford. Not a problem but it was good to be home. 

Gail was taken to another hospital this evening for an emergency operation for a  perforated bowel. Sad news to receive as we got home.
