From Canada With Love

My Dear Princess & Dear Fellows,

Manitoba left Wishbone today. It is the nature of these transitory holiday jobs, she is moving on to continue her travels around Australasia. 

Still, it's a shame, Montreal is long gone and I enjoyed the chat with both Canadians. Manitoba was especially fun because she was a fellow film nerd and got very excited telling me about her latest movie viewing.

She was also a drunk. "This is day three of a three-day hangover," she told me this morning. "You're lucky I haven't thrown up in your latte."

I expect I may forge another friendly-banter friendship with the next barista. Or maybe not. Sometimes they never get past that whole, "Have a nice day!" level of chat. 

Still, as one last gesture, Manitoba went MAD with my loyalty card today. She handed me this one, brand new and blank and then -

STAMP STAMP STAMP STAMP STAMP STAMP STAMP STAMP

"You're next coffee's on me," she told me. "Or actually Wishbone really. I ain't payin' for this sh*t."
