The bride
The Camden Historic Society presented a ghostly tour of the Kershaw house and grounds that we went to visit this evening. The people in each part of the historic area, Kershaw House, McCaa's Tavern, the Craven House, Bradley and Drakeford House all were in costume and portrayed the ghosts of the people who belonged to the house. It was really a great presentation of the history of the area. There was also a tavern "lady of the evening" at McCaa's Tavern..she had already been in the beer! So funny and very much in character.
The spookiest part of the night was the bride who just wandered from the tavern to the Craven house..looking for her groom. She really glided across the grass in her long white dress occasionally crying. It was worth a few goose bumps.
With the dark areas and trying to avoid getting any other people or bright lights in the photo, it ended up really blurry...or maybe I should say ghostly!
