You Can't Beat Wellington On A Good Day

 The flight to Wellington is only 40 minutes.  Sam and Bridie met us and we went to a suburban restaurant that is in a former petrol station building.  Very quirky surroundings but good casual food.
Today we went into the city to view the Great War Exhibition.

The enlarged and colourised photos did exactly that.  A brilliant display.  Next we made our way to Oriental Bay and walked along enjoying the sunshine and the clear water.  This is a popular place for city workers to go for a run at lunch time.  We went to the next suburb for lunch in a cafe and groceries to make dinner for Sam and Bridie.
