Two months to go!

A grand day out in Leeds.

We took the bus to Bingley and then the train into Leeds for about midday.

Headed for the lovely Corn Exchange for a coffee where I discovered to my horror that I had no memory card in my camera!

So as well as heading to the travel agents to pay the balance of our holiday bill
( which took remarkably little time considering the sum!) we had to look out for a shop selling memory cards. We achieved this in Leeds Indoor Market - a new place for me, and then wandered back through the Victoria Quarter.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas these lovely arcades are always wonderful to see and a great tribute to Leeds that they were not lost in the age of 'modernisaion'. Here you can see the central Christmas tree Fountains and Frivolity.

We concluded our day out with a trip to a favourite Fish restaurant as Chris won the monthly Numbers Club draw at Church yesterday!

A miserable wet day but a good break from the decorating and lots to look forward to!
