Lichen

Playing with my macro lens "in the field". The feathery lichen is a sure sign of the purity of the air.
Earlier, I walked down to Killin to get the paper. A very productive walk in terms of wildlife; not that I managed to photograph much of it. There were many flocks of Long-tailed tits, loads of treecreepers, a couple of goldcrests but I was most pleased to see two red squirrels, the first that I've seen at Loch Tay :)
A splendid weekend, very refreshing.
