Spooky and Neglected

A trip out birding today. It was rather windy and we had about 3 quick heavy showers. The morning was spent Sea watching a was very enjoying with quite a few decent semi rare birds flying by . But the sea was to rough and they was either to far out or to fast flying past to get any photos of them. we enjoyed good views of Little Auks and Guillemots and also a couple of great northern divers along with some skuas.
Afterwards we took a short trip down the coast to check some bushes to see if any land birds had been brought in on the winds. Nothing much about so I grabbed a couple of shots of an old timber framed house that is deserted and rather run down. I went with this shot taken through a small wooded area and done with a sepia effect.The story behind the house is that it is owned by an old man who is in a nursing home but wont sell it. apparently there is furniture and the beds are all made up still . I have included a couple more shots of it and also a shot of the beach where we was sea watching .
Back home now and in the warm ready for a relaxing evening of TV.
