It's getting cold......

…….although the sun has been shining all day.  Woke up to frost, and an icy bird table......we have had such a lovely spell of weather, and even though it has turned colder it is still lovely.  The autumn leaves are lasting a long time and giving immeasurable pleasure to all.  Our town looks beautiful in the autumn, the Council did a lot of tree planting in the 'fifties and 'sixties, when the town was young, and it has really paid off.

A quiet day for us today, church in the morning, an all age service with some special singers leading us, really beautiful.  And a bit of everything in the afternoon in the house, while the HG is still busy in the garden, lots of tidying of leaves and preparing for wintertime.
