Go away rain; I'll take the snow!

Another Spring-like day with a temperature of 63 degrees, but still way too wet to take Gulliver for a walk in the park. On my own, I walked down the trail by the river, but didn't get past this barricade. The trail was inundated with large chunks of ice and water. Turning around, I tried another trail, only to run into a second barricade. Third time's the charm, you know, so I took off down yet another trail. This time I covered a little distance, but then it too became impassable. Not barricaded, just covered with water and mud. So when the skies began to drip, I stuck my camera inside my jacket and headed for home.

On my way back to the car, I saw Rascal.
