Hospital Gown Chic

Well, today's been a bit bananas! I went for my GP appt this morning and, as far as the GP could tell, everything's OK with me. She couldn't really pin down any reason why I've had the cough for so long, and whilst she thinks it'll most likely just peter out on its own, she sent me for a chest x-ray at Sandwell General. I was initially marvelling at the speed and efficiency of the encounter (GP appt at 9am, arrival at hospital just before 10am, chest x-ray completed by 10:30am), however I've now been told that I won't get the results for 2-3 weeks... That's plenty of time for a worrier like me to panic, or indeed for my cough to clear up, leaving me to feel guilty for wasting NHS services and time..!

Suffice to say that my afternoon at work was a bit busy!
