Branching Out

After passing this rather imposing tree this morning the ladies branched out and walked a new to us footpath.

The normal path we take involves climbing a hill through Cottingley Woods.

Unbeknowst to us the new footpath skirted the hill so involved no climbing.

Result - except we broke the only rule we have whilst walking - we must climb a hill.

Suppose breaking the rules once in a while is allowed
