Hints of the 50s

After yesterday's forecast we expected heavy rain for most of the night and the next few days too, but just a few showers last night and today has been sunny and very pleasant.
A few random tasks about the kitchen and laundry this morning then back to the stitching cave to complete this bag before a rather late lunch.
I rather think I'll send it to my dear aunt as a " very merry unbirthday" present. She loves blue...as do I.
