Sudoku

Nona and Pawpaw came to visit us for a long weekend. They picked this weekend in particular to make sure to catch HD's "official" opening of the community garden.

Nona is doing OK, given the circumstances. Her breast cancer medicine (estrogen suppressant which she will have to take for 10 years) is wrecking havoc with her body and mind. She has to have additional surgeries to address some secondary problems. She is a real fighter, though, and was thrilled to visit us, and celebrate LM's birthday a bit early. Between all the activities, she either took naps, or spent time with LM. Here, LM is teaching her how to solve Sudoku puzzles, as she has never known what to do with them before. They both had a blast collaborating and figuring out shortcuts in problem-solving.
