First snow

We've a dusting of snow but heading up the A9 there was decent amounts of coverage. Lots of winter hype around, speculation abounds.
 "last year it was like this around now and winter was great". 
"it's just a fluke, it'll be gone by next week"

Personally I'm keen for a good winter but I wouldn't mind if it holds off till later - I've lots of expeditions planned!
