Postcard from Essex

Had a great, relaxing rail trip down to Kings Cross, in preparation for joining the cruise liner in Tilbury Docks tomorrow.

Staying the night in Stifford Hotel and very much enjoying Essex. Had a late afternoon walk in North Stifford, which is a beautiful village, and what stands out are their commemorations of the end of The Great War. Also, loved the thatched cottages and houses.
