Tricky spot

Under our beech tree and in full sun, with poor gravelly soil.
The native geraniums survived the drought (just) and the sage and rosemary didn’t seem to mind it.
So we have added some perennials for colour and some ground cover plants as well. All topped off with a generous mulch of the gov’s home made compost.
