It's that time of year!

A morning in town ... not my favourite way to spend a Saturday morning but there were some bits of shopping we needed to do ..... success ... I bought two new smallish sofas with L's help. The test is .... can she get up off the sofa without using her hands and yes she could .... plastic card handed over .. job done. Plenty of time to get rid of the old and shampoo the carpet.

While were having a bowl of soup in John Lewis I spotted this wall decoration. I'm not a supporter of Hallowe'en but it's very hard to avoid when the shops are full of 'stuff'!

On our way to the bus we heard and then saw the thousands of teachers marching in support of a pay demand. The traffic had ground to a halt and the buses were going nowhere so we eventually walked from the town out to L's flat on Pollokshields.
