Playing with light

One thing I really like about the Christmas period is the way people feel free to play with light and decoration in ways in which they might feel inhibited about at other times of year. There also seems to be a sense of joy and cheer that comes through simply having fun in this way.

Our neighbours have some reindeer made of lights that appear to bend down from time to time to nibble the grass.

We could do this sort of thing all the time - something artistic, fun and joyful. It's for life... not just for Christmas.
